Wolves Youth Season Recap

With the conclusion of the 3v3 Challenge on Sunday March 6th, the New England Wolves officially concluded their youth hockey season.

All the youth teams within the program enjoyed standout seasons including:

* U15 Full Season NEPHL Champions, ECEL U16 Showcase Division (2nd Place Regular Season) & GSL Playoff Participants

* U18 Split Season GSL State Finalists (NH Tier III)

* U16 Full Season NEPHL Premier Champions, GSL Playoff Participants (& Regional Qualifiers), ECEL Semi- Finalists, and UT1HL 3rd place finish 

* U18 Full Season GSL Playoff Participants 

From a Statistical perspective here are some additional highlights:

* U15 Full Season Record- 26-11-2 

* U16 Full Season Record- 32- 21- 2  ( 26.9 PP%  / 91.2 PK%)

Leading Scorers for each of the Full Season teams included:

U15 Full Season- Cam Plumb (33goals & 18 assists), Evan Guerin (15 goals & 31 assists), Alex Gundersen (21goals & 17 assists), and Trevor Lemaire (22 goals & 9 assists)

U16 Full Season- Charles Dey (26 goals & 40 assists), Gage Winter ( 34 goals & 28 assists), Bryce Neil (21 goals & 28 assists).

U18 Full Season - Owen Guerin 24 pts in 24 league games

Final Awards for each of the teams were awarded following the 3v3 Challenge.  These players earned recognition:

U15 Full Season:

MVP - Cam Plumb

Unsung Hero- Alex Hanson

U16 Full Season:

MVP- Daniel Lopez- Franco

Unsung Hero- Alex Valentini

U18 Full Season:

MVP- Owen Guerin

Unsung Hero- Owen Currier

 

Congratulations to all the players involved with our teams and for the tremendous development witnessed all season.  Incredible effort, enthusiasm, and growth was exhibited by all the players on our final rosters.  Special Thank You goes out to the coaching staff, in particular; John Guerin, Lou Loutrel, Mike Potenza, Sam Danais, Connor Bates, Tim Kunes and scheduler Joe Spicuzza.   We wish all players continued success and look forward to being even better in 2022-23!  GO WOLVES!!
