Wolves and JBT Game a Tremendous Success
Laconia, NH. The New England Wolves EHL JR hockey team on the 6th Annual JBT night scored a come from behind 4-3 OT victory against the NH Avalanche, and in the process raised over $15,000.00 for the Cure Starts Now foundation.
Saturdays 4-3 win marked the 5th time in the 2020-21 season that the Wolves defeated the Hooksett based NH Avalanche. The victory solidly positioned the Wolves EHL team in the 2nd place for the playoffs, which begin in a little over 2 weeks.
Patriks Marcinkevics recorded 4 points on the night, including the OT winner. Ricards Jelenskis, another Latvian native like Marcinkevics, tied the game at 3 with a little over a minute to go in regulation time.
The Wolves would like to thank all the fans, support staff, league partners, donators, community and the Thompson Family for a great night of hockey. The Wolves also wish congratulations to our longtime supporter John McKenzie for winning in the "not so mini one on one" shootout!!
