What is Wolves Academy?

Starting in the Fall of 2017, the Wolves "Den of Development" Model was created by Coach Tim Kunes & GM Andrew Trimble in order to develop their athletes within a structured, skill- based, platform.  The Development Model is centered on:

* Daily Skill Sessions in addition to Team Practices

* Position- Specific On Ice Sessions (Forward, Defenseman, Goalie)

* Specialized Workouts Each Day (Flexibility, Power, Conditioning)

* Multiple Video Sessions a Week

* Peak Performance Counseling

* Focus on Academics- Dedicated Classroom time with Tutors

 

Wolves Academy Program  Features: 

* Multiple Ice Sessions Daily- 10 + Hours of Practice a Week

* Extensive Skill Curriculum & Opportunity for Open Ice

* Academic Advisement & Academic Support

* Team Locker Rooms & Video Classroom

* Wolves Training Center- Team Gym & Synthetic Ice Facility

* Structured Week with an Emphasis on Development

* Full Time Coaching Staff

 

A Day in the Life of the Wolves Academy

8am Arrive at Rink

830am On Ice Skills

10am Academy Video Session

1030am Study Time

12noon Lunch

115pm Practice with Jr team

3pm Academic Support & Tutor Time

430pm Youth Team Practice

6pm Youth Workout
