Advertise with the Wolves and help local players

Hockey Season will soon be upon us and the 2024-25 season, the New England Wolves will be
providing a fresh look, feel and experience for all of our youth players here in the Lakes Region of
New Hampshire ! We have big plans for our small but growing program, but we will not be
successful without the help of our local friends & businesses! The New England Wolves is home
to almost 100 families from throughout the Lakes Region and beyond! From U8 to U18 we assist
local families and players in developing, growing and exposing them to the great sport of ice
hockey. Combined with our established Junior program (ages U16 to U20) in the Eastern
Hockey League, now is the time to be a part of the Wolves as we grow and build upon our
successes.
As a sponsor you can feel good knowing that your donation is funding hockey scholarships for
kids that may(otherwise) not be able to play. At the Wolves we offer FREE Learn to Play, FREE
Street Hockey in the Spring, oftentimes FREE equipment and assist with community service and
volunteer events throughout the year, having been recognize in 2018 & 2022 with a Spirit of New
Hampshire award, and 4 times through the Eastern Hockey League for our community service.
I am reaching out to you in hopes that you would consider becoming a Wolves Youth Hockey
Association Sponsor! As a sponsor of the Wolves even a small amount can make a huge
difference to the league and to our kids. There are multiple ways in which you can sponsor, and I
have included them on the following pages of this letter.
The Wolves has become a home to many hockey families here in the Lakes Region and we’d like
to include you and your business in our hockey family! Please respond via email or phone when
you are ready to become a Wolves corporate sponsor!
Once you do so please follow us on social media, come to a game, and include us in events at
your business or charity as the Wolves want to volunteer our athletes and players to assist with
community service with all of our local organizations.
GO WOLVES!!

Wolves Billeting Program

By Staff Reports 04/18/2024, 3:45pm EDT

WHAT IS "BILLETING"?

"Billeting" is a hockey tradition and is especially important at the junior level of hockey. This concept involves local host families providing a home to out-of-state or out-of-country players for the hockey season. The billet program also allows these young men to complete their high school educations, take college preparatory classes, obtain part-time employment and/or volunteer in the local community while pursuing the next step in their hockey careers.

For more information, email Tammy McKenzie below.

TAMMY MCKENZIE- HOST FAMILY COORDINATOR

Tammy McKenzie of Gilford, NH is a lifelong hockey enthusiast, and has had several billets live with her and her family since the 2018 season.   She has a passion for hockey that she shares with her family (husband John and children Heather and Aidan).  She is actively involved with youth sports at all levels,

”The Wolves Family is extremely excited to add Tammy McKenzie to our core of support staff.  Our boys were extremely well taken care of by her family every season she has hosted, and we look forward to her help and guidance in finding all of our new Wolves homes for next season as they develop and enhance their hockey careers while living in the Lakes Region.” - Wolves GM Andrew Trimble
