EHLP Sweeps Worcester Showcase

The Wolves EHLP jr team continued their strong 2nd half play, rattling off 3 straight victories over the span of 2 days, running their win streak to 9.

At the Worcester showcase the Wolves defeated the Philadelphia Little Flyers (6-3), Philadelphia Revolution (6-4) and NY Bridgemen (7-2).   This strong play takes the Wolves to 8-0 in showcase play.

EHLP enjoys a break this weekend (as EHL preps for JBT week), and resumes game play on the road versus the VT Lumberjacks February 1st.

Wolves EHL Sweeps Showcase

The New England Wolves EHL team swept the January Showcase in Exeter, NH, with two decisive victories on Sunday afternoon and Monday evening.  These wins drive the Wolves winning streak to 8 games, having not lost since December 7th.

The Wolves first defeated the NY Applecore by a score of 6-4 on Sunday.  Oliver Quinn recorded his first win in nets and Connor Klees buried the game winner on a beautiful individual rush.

The Wolves then followed it up with a 2-0 win against Northern rival, Valley JR Warriors on Monday.  LJ Newell continued his hot play in nets and Wolves captain DJ Schwenke scored both goals.

The Wolves EHL team ends the January Showcase with a 9-1 record in Showcase play, one of the top in the league.  Additionally, their 20 wins, are a franchise high at the EHL level.

The Wolves return to action on Thursday away against the Valley JR Warriors in Haverhill, MA with a noon puck drop.
