Manchester, England native Adam Barnes came to the Wolves in the summer of 2017 after graduating from OHA in Cornwall, Ontario. He spent the 2017-118 season in Laconia as a member of the New England Wolves EHL team, primarily playing on a line with Quinn Fahey and current UMass- Dartmouth freshman Blake Harlow.
Once the season was completed, Barnes pursued pro opportunities overseas in his native country, and scored a two- way contract with Manchester Storm of the EIHL, a Pro League in the United Kingdom.
"The Wolves are extremely proud of Barnesy." commented GM Andrew Trimble. "In his first year of Pro Hockey, he has developed his game and continue to have success."
Barnes commented, "Really enjoyed the season so far and getting used to the league. Due to injuries these past few games allowed me to get more ice and to get my first goal."
Just a few nights ago, Barnes lit the lamp for his first EIHL goal for Manchester. Below is the highlight!
