Close out 2018 with wins at each level

This Sunday, Dec. 16, New England Wolves JR teams, taking on the Valley JR Warriors in the last games of 2018 swept the day.  The EHLP team won 7-4 in Haverhill, MA, and the EHL team won on home ice in Laconia in Overtime.

The EHLP team was paced by Alex Carpenter, Eric Hambling and Herberts Zeibots, who all recorded multiple point games.  The victory was their 3rd in a row, and 22nd win of the season (2nd most in the EHLP).

The EHL game was in front of a nice crowd in Laconia, many of which came to view the Lakes Region Lakers Mite teams, who played in two games in between the periods.  Valley built up a 4-2 lead before the Wolves stormed back.  Brendan Manning recorded a 4 point game, and Kris Muhr was solid in nets.

Tied 5-5 in regulation, the teams battled for several minutes in 3v3 overtime, before Tommy Condon collected a loose puck off a home run feed from Declan House off a D Zone faceoff.  Condon raced down the middle of the ice and was able to beat the Valley goaltender with a slick forehand to backhand move.

The Wolves return to action the first weekend of January 2019.

Wolves managment wants to wish all players, parents, fans, sponsors, supporters and the like, a Safe and Happy Holiday Season!
