The New England Wolves EHL, returning to home ice for the first time since Thanksgiving break, recorded an outstanding win on Saturday night at the Merrill Fay Arena.

Facing the South Division leader of the EHL’s New England Conference, the TAC Seahawks, the Wolves recorded a come from behind 2-1 victory.

Entering the contest the Seahawks were 14-6-4 and have already committed two players to NCAA hockey for the 2019-20 season. Falling behind early, the Wolves refused to quit.  A timely score by Tommy Condon, set up by DJ Schwenke, knotted the score at 1 late in the 3rd period.  Minutes later, Brendan Manning would finish a goal mouth scramble to take the lead.  The 2-1 margin would stand on great defensive play from Nate Trull, Declan House and Owen Haas, while Thomas Lemire would stand tall in nets.

The Wolves return to action this weekend with 3 games (Thursday/Friday in Newington, CT at the EHL Showcase) and at home vs Valley JR Warriors on Sunday at 215pm. Sunday’s game will feature the Lakes Region Lakers “Mites on Ice” between periods.
