EHL & U18 Unbeaten

The NE Wolves Hockey program, at multiple levels, is off to a tremendous start in their first weekend of games.  Both the EHL team (playing in preseason games against NH Avalanche & SeaCoast JR) and the U18 team are unbeaten through their first 4 games.

Playing last years EHL Champion (NH Avalanche) the Wolves Jr team recorded a 2-2 tie on Friday afternoon. Goals came from Patrick Roach & Daniels Leja.  The U18s have been strong off the prolific goal scoring of Wolfeboro native Nick Potenza.

Wolves U14 & EHLP U19 have yet to play an official game but had strong weeks of practice, as have the Wolves U16.

In addition to the on ice success both the EHL and EHLP participated in community service this weekend.  EHL helped with the set up of the Laconia Multicultural Festival and EHLP helped Rochester Youth Hockey’s Dryland Skills Opening Day.

”it’s part of our culture here to volunteer and give back. “Commented GM Andrew Trimble. “The teams are doing great, but these are young men... and we want to make a positive impact in Laconia.”

The JR teams play their first official league games on Friday. EHL vs East Coast Wizards at 1pm and EHLP vs Central Penn Panthers at 630pm both at Merrill Fay Arena.  Tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for kids.
