The New England Wolves EHL and EHLP Staff has a busy month ahead.  With a few critical roster spots to fill and a few pieces to add to their team (s) core, the staff will be looking for the “ right” pieces as they head into the summer.

Currently the Wolves Staff is in Denver, CO scouting the CCM showcase (where they took part in a coaches panel discussion on USA JR hockey). “The talent out here is terrrific and there is a lot of depth.  We also got to grab lunch with last years leading scorer, DJ Schwenke (from Colorado Springs), so it’s been a successful weekend.” Comment GM Trimble

On Tuesday, the Wolves head to St Louis to check out the EHL ID skate, a 2 Day event with Commisioner Mark Kumpel in attendance.

Early June brings several local events in Northern Massachusetts, where the Wolves will be looking to add to their U18 and U16 Split Midget Teams.  Those teams are making the move to the NEPHL, a very good regional youth hockey league. “Hockey Night in Boston has been around for decades and attracts great HS talent. Caleb Drouin played in that showcase for 3 years and developed for us from high school to EHLP to now being a key member of our EHL team.” Commented Trimble.

June 18-20, the Wolves will be in Las Vegas at the Global Showcase. Last year the Global Showcase helped them acquire two key members of their playoff-bound EHLP team.
