Mutual Connections create opportunity for talented Southerners

For the 2018-19 EHLP season, the New England Wolves and the NC Force, a new EHL program based out of North Carolina, are teaming up to provide developmental opportunities for talented U19 North Carolina players.

Paul Strand, the Owner and HC of the NC Force and Wolves EHL Head Coach Tim Kunes worked together last year at the Select 14 Southern District camp at Kent State.  When the NC Force were welcomed into the EHL this season, Kunes reached out to Strand to create an affiliate agreement.  The agreement will allow talented U19 players who the Force have identified as players they want within their program, to play and train with the Wolves EHLP team for the 2018-19 season, as the NC Force do not currently field an EHLP team.  NC Force Affiliate players will enjoy all the Wolves amenities for the 2018-19 season and be allowed the following year to return to NC and compete for a roster spot on the EHL Top Divisional Club.

”This agreement works well for everybody.  The Wolves have always identified talented Southern kids and developed them up to the top division club.” Said GM Andrew Trimble  Notable ones include 2000 Center Quinn Fahey of Georgia and recent UMass Dartmouth commit Blake Harlow of Pelham, AL.  “I’m looking forward to going down to SAHA in Atlanta in a week and identifying some of these players and working with Coach Strand to develop future Force Players. We appreciate the trust he has put in us.” Commented Trimble
