The New England Wolves host the Valley JR Warriors on Saturday January 27th in what should be a special night at the Merrill Fay Arena in Laconia.

With critical playoff points on the line, the Wolves will host the Lakes Region Lakers Mite team in a “Mites on Ice” Game between the 1st and 2nd period.  Anyone wearing a Lakers Jersey will get in FREE!

Additionally, the Wolves will be accepting donations for the Zander Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to the loving memory of Rink employee Alex Evans.  A raffle and 50/50 will be hed with proceeds going to the Foundation. Alex Evans was a familiar face in Hockey and the Merrill Fay Arena before passing away in 2016.  

The game between the Wolves and Warriors carries playoff implications and should be an exciting, tightly contested affair.  Thus far on the season, both teams have split the season series (1-1). Moreover, both teams are tied for a playoff spot in the Northern conference of the EHL.

The EHL Wolves have currently won 4 of the last 6 games since returning from Holiday Break.  They have exceeded their win total by 4 games from last years total, with 14 games still left to play. “This team has set their sights on improving everyday and getting into the playoffs.  Once in, it’s anybody’s game.” Said GM/ Head Coach Andrew Trimble.

Cost to attend is $5, $1 for kids age 14 and under. Puck drop is 630pm on Saturday the 27th.
