Former Laconia Player & Wolves Coach now Assistant at PSU

The New England Wolves would like to congratulate Coach Jay Londer on his appointment as Assistant Hockey Coach at Plymouth State University.

The Philadelphia, PA native came to the Lakes Region in 2001 to play Junior Hockey for the former Laconia JR franchise, the Laconia Leafs.  Starring with the Leafs led to his outstanding 4 year Hockey career at Plymouth State.

After graduating, Londer settled permanently in the Lakes Region of NH and moved into coaching, leading to guiding the Belmont/ Gilford Bulldogs HS team to it's first and only DIII NH HS state championship.  In the Fall of 2015 & 2016 Londer coached the Wolves Split- Season Midget program in the EJEPL.

In the Fall of 2017, Londer took his new position at Plymouth State University, coaching alongside Craig Russell.  Plymouth State, a perenial contender in the MASCAC, is currently enjoying another outstanding season with an 11-3-1 overall record.

Hard work pays off, or as Coach Londer says, "Make the most important thing the most important thing."  Congrats!!
