EHLP Finish 2017 Strong

The Wolves EHLP Junior team has taken the month of December by storm, finishing the last two weekends of 2017 with 3 wins in 4 games, including a clean sweep of the Southern Divisions #2 ranked team the NJ 87's.

After a weekend home split versus the NJ Renegades, the Wolves faced the 87's in Laconia on December 16 & 17.  Game 1 was a dramatic affair, as the Wolves rallied from a 2-0 deficit, 4-3 deficit, and 5-4 deficit late to win 6-5 in OT.  Laconia native Bryce Ricker tallied the tying goal with less than 1 second to go in regulation.  It was his second of the game.  After a dramatic save by Noah Stock in OT, Wolfeboro,  NH native Sam Danais recorded the winner, potting in the rebound of a point shot.

Game 2 at home on Sunday, saw Defenseman Nathan Trull play the role of the hero, recording a 4 point game, including two timely goals.  Bryce Ricker also scored and Hunter Koch was solid in nets in a 7-4 victory.

" Really proud of how the guys played this weekend.  Everyone sacrificed and we stayed disciplined which was the key.  Got some huge goals by the defenseman." said EHLP Head Coach Tim Kunes.

The Wolves enjoy a much needed Holiday recess before returning to action the first weekend of January 2018.
