Cape Cod, MA. November 17, 2017-  The New England Wolves EHL team travelled down to Hyannis, MA on Friday night for a key Northern Conference EHL matchup.

The Wolves got off to a great start, building up a 3-1 lead mid-way through the 2nd period off the strength of goals by Andre Gulbrandsen, Blake Harlow and Roger Powers. The Seahawks responded with two quick transitional goals by Matthew Stewart and Jon Murphy.  The Wolves capitalized late however, recovering a puck on the hard forechecking of Matt Needleman, who fed Dj Schwenke around the net front, and buried his chance with 21 seconds to go in the 2nd period.

The Wolves then came out dominant in the 3rd period, recording 2 power play goals.  Newcomer Noah Morning drilled a point shot to make it 5-3, before Matt Needleman sealed it, making it 6-3. “It was a big effort by everyone in the lineup.  From Goaltender on out, the kids responded and performed.”  said GM/ Head Coach Andrew Trimble.
