Laconia, NH. October 21, 2017.  Saturday afternoon at the Merrill Fay Arena featured both an EHL JR A team practice and NCAA Men's hockey team practice, as the Wolves and Panthers shared ice and competed alongside one another for a full 60 minute session.

"Coach Russell has always been very supportive of our program with campus tours and recruiting from the EHL." Said Wolves GM/ Head Coach Andrew Trimble.  " He presented this idea and we jumped on it."

The PSU Panthers just completed tryouts and open up next weekend. Looking to fine tune their game, they headed 30 miles south to Laconia to jump on the ice with the EHL Wolves for head to head action.  The 60 minute session featured a combination of drills, small area games and scrimmages, and prepped both teams.

"It certainly helped our boys, as they came out flying the next day and won 8-5 in a Divisional EHL game." Commented Trimble. "Sincere thanks to the Panthers and Coach Russell for making this happen!"
