BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) is pleased to announce the dates and locations for the 2017-18 EHLP Showcase Series. This season, all three showcases take place on the same weekends as EHL Showcases, with a pair of the events in close proximity.
The November showcase at Breakaway Ice Center (Tewksbury, MA), is just 15 miles away from the EHL showcase that will be taking place on the same dates at Haverhill Valley Forum (Haverhill, MA).
The distance will increase slightly, but in January, the showcase event at Revolution Ice Gardens (Warwick, PA) will be taking place on the same dates as the EHL showcase at Ice Line Quad Rinks (West Chester, PA).
The goal of the EHLP under the EHL umbrella is to increase the number of scouts in attendance at this year's feature events. The 13 EHLP teams are made up of a wealth of young talent, with many players that will keep climbing the ladder in the years to come. It has come as no surprise when a player starts in the EHLP, works his way up to the EHL, and then makes his NCAA commitment. Many players have followed this path, and that number will increase again this season.
