Laconia, NH.  April 29th & 30th brought nearly 50 skaters from all over the US to Plymouth State University for the New England Wolves Annual EHL Junior Hockey tryout.  With players from as far south as Alabama , far north as Quebec, and many parts in between (including a strong number of players from Western New York and New Jersey) each player was showcasing their talents for an opportunity to earn a spot on the Wolves 2017-18 rosters.

“We have had a terrific spring for recruiting, and this was our largest pre-registration for a Tryout as an organization.” Said Wolves EHL Head Coach Andrew Trimble.  “Over the course of 2 days and with meetings, tours, and hours of On-the-Ice training, these kids really battled hard to earn a spot”.

Trimble noted that recent hires Mike Potenza (Midget Coach), Dillon Smith (Asst Coach), Dave Pollak (Peak Performance Coach), Rob Day (Goalie Coach) and Tim Kunes (EHL Coach) were integral to a smooth and efficient tryout weekend.  “The amenities at Plymouth State are first class and they treated us well.” Said Trimble.

The Wolves will be scouting in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Denver, CO for the month of May, as they continue to assemble their 2017-18 rosters.
