Laconia, NH. February 19, 2017.  The New England Wolves U19 EHL Elite team defeated the Northern Cyclones of Hudson, NH 4-3 on Friday night overcoming a 3-2 deficit in the last 8 minutes of the contest.  The win, coupled with a decision over the NJ Rockets on the weekend, has the Wolves Elites win streak at 6 in a row, and winners of 13 of their last 17 games.

Early goals by Tommy Gramando and Carl Bear started the Wolves off positively, but penalty trouble and mistakes allowed the Cyclones to build a 3-2 lead on home ice.

The Wolves continued to prove to be resilient.  Bryce Ricker (Laconia, NH) tied the game at the 8:37 mark of the third period off a beautifully orchestrated offensive zone faceoff.  Assist went to Zach Dezotelle.

The Winner came on the Power Play when Aleck Forcier blasted a point shot past the screened netminder mind just over 4 minutes to go.  Assists went to Quinn Fahey and Fedor Lopaev.

The Wolves return to action next weekend with 2 games against the Boston JR Rangers.  Due to the weather conditions last weekend, the Wolves will be holding their “Game for Max” during the JR Rangers game at Merrill Fay Arena on Saturday night.  Puck Drop at 645pm.  For more info go to-www.americanhockeyinstitute.com
