CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Fredonia sophomore goaltender Eric Bogart (London, Ont.) has been chosen SUNYAC Men's Hockey Goaltender of the Week.
Bogart stopped 68 of 70 shots he faced in a pair of non-conference wins at home last week -- 7-2 over Western New England and 4-0 over Johnson & Wales.
The 4-0 shutout was Bogart's first collegiate shutout in his 26th appearance for Fredonia over the past two seasons. He lowered his season goals-against average to 3.01 while his season-long save percentage improved to .919. He has a 6-5-1 record this season.
It is the second time this season Bogart has landed the weekly award. His previous award came on Nov. 7.
