Alumni Update: Toombs Registers First Collegiate Point

Matthew Toombs, a freshman at Franklin Pierce University, Registers his first collegiate point coming as an assist Saturday November 5th. The Franklin Pierce Ravens traveled to Worcester State Saturday night for a 7:00p puck drop. Toombs tallied his assist on the Raven’s 2nd goal while on the power play. A goal that put the Ravens up 2-0 in the game, eventually leading to a 4-1 win. Franklin pierce is 2-2 on the season. 

The 5’8” 194lb resident of Pleasanton, CA played his last 2 seasons with the Wolves. He played his 2014-2015 season for the Wolves Independent team under head coach Brett Tryder and his 2015-2016 season on the EHL Premier team under head coach/gm Steve Jacobs. Toombs came to the Wolves after played 2 years with the Winchendon School. We expect to see many more points and success in his collegiate career.
