October 16, 2016 Laconia, NH — The Lakes Region Lakers filled the stands Saturday night at the Merrill Fay Arena to take in the Wolves Premier team vs. the Valley Jr. Warriors. Between the 1st and 2nd periods, the Mites took the ice for an intermission scrimmage. 

The game started with the Warriors striking first with the sole goal in the 1st period. The Wolves would respond coming out flying in the second period and getting on the board with a goal from #3 Michael Holmes assisted by NH native, #2 Zander Allen. The Wolves would strike again just over a minute later with a goal by #10 Brian Lange, assisted by #17 Casey Noyes and #44 Maxwell Kent. Valley would respond, netting 3 more goals in the 2nd. With a score of 4-2 entering the 3rd, the Wolves got right back to work with #17 Casey Noyes netting a goal early to bring the Wolves within 1. Assists on that goal would go to #10 Brian Lange an #23 Will Lebel. The Warriors would extend their lead back to 2 with 5:29 remaining in the 3rd. They would eventually lock in a win with an open net goal with :10 seconds remaining for a final score of 6-3.
