19U ELITE ::: EHL 3 STARS OF THE WEEK (HUDSON SHOWCASE)

Emoff, Colburn, and Dezotelle Named 3 Stars of the Week

BOSTON, MA -- Showcase #1 is in the books for the 19U Elite Division. This past weekend featured all 15 teams competing over a three-day span at Tri-Town Ice Arena in Hooksett, NH.

You can look back at all the action with the LIVE BLOGS from each day.

Following a solid first showcase of the season, we're pleased to announce that Mason Emoff (Vermont Lumberjacks), Bryan Colburn (Walpole Express), and Zach Dezotelle (New England Wolves) have been named the EHL Stars of the Week.

Also, this week's 19U Elite Team of the Week is the Walpole Express.

MASON EMOFF

Emoff and the Lumberjacks swept the Columbus Day Showcase, improving their record to 8-1-0 on the season. The Lumberjacks sit at the top of the North Conference with 16 points, and they are 2nd in the league standings behind the Philadelphia Revolution (18 points).

Emoff tore it up with eight total points in three games, and currently leads the 19U Elite Division with 24 points so far this season. The Lumberjacks will look to extend their winning streak this weekend when they take on the New England Wolveson Friday, and the Northern Cyclones on Saturday and Sunday.

BRYAN COLBURN

Colburn and the Express won all three of their games this past weekend, improving their record to 5-3-1 on the year.

In Saturday's matchup with the Applecore, Colburn scored a record three goals in 29 seconds. This is the fastest any player in recent history has logged a natural hat trick, and you can read more about it at tier3juniorhockey.com.

Colburn now has ten total points in nine games this season, and he'll look to keep things rolling in the Express' next game on Sunday against the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs.

ZACH DEZOTELLE

Dezotelle and the Wolves won two of their three games this past weekend, moving their record up to 3-2-0.

The native of Swanton, Vermont currently leads his team in scoring with seven points in the first five games. Dezotelle will look to pick up where he left off as the Wolves travel to take on the Vermont Lumberjacks on Friday, and then play host to the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs on Saturday.

19U ELITE TEAM OF THE WEEK

This week's 19U Elite Team of the Week is the Walpole Express.

There were six teams with perfect records this past weekend at the Columbus Day Showcase, but it was the Express who stood out the most.

Walpole finished the weekend 3-0-0 and owned an incredible 21-1 goal differential. The team will look to keep things going in their next game on Sunday against the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs.
