A Message form our friends at Think John Bradley & The Cure Starts Now Organization…

Hi Friends,

We will be hosting the 3rd Annual JBT Regatta at WYC in just a few weeks (July 16th) to celebrate the memory of our son John and raise funds for DIPG research.  Our collective efforts will ultimately cure Cancer.  I know this sounds like a pipe dream but we are confident that that The Cure Starts Now Foundation has the passion, direction and blueprint to end the disease that takes away so many of our loved ones.  One day, there will be a doctor who gets credit for curing cancer … It won’t be this year, probably not next year either, but it’s going to happen and it will be our Heart & Generosity that brings it to fruition.  No parent should ever have to accept the diagnosis that John was given three years ago  --  It’s absolutely devastating and we need your support to defeat DIPG.

The Cure Starts Now has dozens of chapters, most of which are run by families who have lost children to DIPG, just like Alison and I.  This allows the Foundation to operate with overhead in the 3% range, which is phenomenal!  Almost all the money we raise goes directly to educated and effective research and we are becoming one of the fastest growing Cancer Foundations in the world.  We are bringing the very best Neuro-Oncologists together in collaboration and giving them the data and funds they need to make real progress and inch closer to the end goal.  There is a widespread belief that the cure for DIPG will lead to a Homerun Cure for all forms of cancer  ---  Finding that Homerun Cure Starts Now!
