New England Wolves Premier Goaltender Kurt Gutting has committed to play his college hockey  for Ken Hutchins and his Northeast 10 Penmen. The 5’11”, 175lb. Gutting, who hails from Weymouth, MA is in his second year with the Wolves. He will enter SNHU in the fall of 2016.

“Kurt is a competitive battler with great anticipation who is constantly trying to improve.  He is very patient and doesn’t waste a lot of movement. He came back this year brimming with confidence after a strong summer working with our goalie coaches Brian Daccord and Dave Shultz, and he has played strong all year”, states Coach Steve Jacobs.  “He is a great teammate who the guys are confident in and want to play hard for”.

Gutting is excited about the next step in his journey as a student athlete.  “It is a dream come true to be able to play college hockey at a school like Southern New Hampshire University.  I would not have been able to achieve my goal of playing at this high level if it were not for Coach Jacobs and the entire New England organization/staff and I am forever grateful.  I am extremely appreciative of my family, teammates, friends, coaches and teachers that have supported me and helped push me to get where I am today”, said Gutting

“The Wolves staff and family want to congratulate Kurt for attaining his dream and wish him luck in his college career”, concludes Jacobs.
