The New England Wolves (Elite) have been ramping up their volunteer and service program this Fall in an effort to give back to their community.

So far on the season, the Wolves (Laconia, NH), have participated in events as wide ranging as working a water station for the Timberman Triathlon, ASPCA dog and cat socializing, WOW (Winnipesaukee Opeechee and Winnisquam) Trail Cleanup, and coaching Youth Hockey practices.

“It is a deep part of our mission to have these young men participate in the full scope of the Junior Hockey experience.  Our team is engaging weekly with Henniker Youth Hockey, Rochester Youth Hockey and Lakes Region Youth Hockey, potentially impacting hundreds of kids,” said Head Coach Andrew Trimble.

Wolves Life Coach Emily Clement (www.emilyclementlifecoach.com), organizes these events and has them involved in specific monthly activities that are seen throughout the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, including this year’s Pumpkin Festival, which attracted thousands of tourists to downtown Laconia. Trimble commented, “Emily does a great job of exposing these kids to unique volunteer activities and in turn, exposing the general population of central New Hampshire to our program.”

Upcoming events in the next few months include a community dinner at the Congregational Church of Laconia, a Christmas Tree Sale with the Gilford Rotary, the cleanup of Laconia’s Annual Christmas Village, and of course, the Winnipesaukee Pond Hockey Classic in February.
