Wolves JR Records 3 Point Weekend

Laconia, October 25, 2015-   The New England Wolves EHL Elite JR hockey team recorded a solid 7-3 victory on Sunday afternoon versus the Vermont Lumberjacks of Burlington, VT.  The win, combined with Friday night’s Shootout versus league leading Walpole gave the Wolves a valuable 3 point weekend.

The 7-3 victory, featured a dramatic effort from local HS standout Dylan Treamer, who recorded his first JR hat trick.  Also scoring were Defenseman Will Francis (Springfield, NJ) and Oliver Gunski (Goffstown, NH), with 1 a piece, and Forwards Kyle Carignan (Rochester, NH) and Dillon Smith (Madison, NH).  Goaltender Brian Thomas (White Lake, Michigan) a 1999 birth year player who has played most of the Fall with the Wolves new EJEPL u16 team, was solid in nets with 40 saves.  The 3 points moves thee Wolves ahead of New Hampshire rival, the Northern Cyclones.

Friday night’s 2-2 shootout decision was an extremely fast paced affair.  Scorers included Mikhail Astakhov of Moscow, Russia and Caleb Drouin (Belmont, NH).  Joe Longo was solid nets.
