New England Wolves captain and 2 year veteran Alec Cochran has committed to St Anselm College for the fall of 2015.  The 6’ 195 lb. skilled 2 way defenseman from Glendale, Arizona is a fluid skater and puck mover who plays with great intensity and is punishing along the wall and in the defensive corner.  “Alec is a physical rugged force who is hard to play against and knows how to separate opponents from the puck”, states Wolves Coach Steve Jacobs.   “His passion for the game, compete level and leadership in the room and on the ice are unmatched.   His desire to make an impact every day in practice and games were obvious and appreciated by his teammates and coaches.  He is such a great skater and presence on the ice that he caught the eye of many college coaches who pursued his services”.

“St Anselm College was always one of my first choices and I can’t wait to work towards a successful career on and off the ice," said Cochran.  "I wouldn’t be anywhere close to where I am today without my 2 years in the Wolves organization and the support of my teammates, coaches and family”.
