New England Wolves defenseman Ryan Shea has committed to Southern New Hampshire University for the fall of 2015.  The 6’ 210 Shea, who hails from Pembroke, MA is a naturally physical and aggressive workhorse who plays big minutes, including both special teams.  “Ryan is a highly dependable DMan who has a great understanding of game situations and he plays a calm game with confidence making crisp outlet passes, and he also loves to deliver the big hit,”  Says Coach Steve Jacobs.  He brings size, toughness and fiery compete level.  He is strong at both ends protecting the house and providing hands, instinct and a heavy shot at the offensive end.”

“It’s an honor to be able to achieve this opportunity to play college hockey at a school I have been wanting to go to for 2 years now. Shea said.  It’s been a dream of mine to play at that level and I want to thank Coach Jacobs, Coach Durocher and the entire Wolves organization for helping me achieve my goal.  I also want to thank my parents, former coaches, professors and everyone who helped and pushed me to get there.  I am greatly looking forward to the experience.”
