The Wolves battled back to tie the game in regulation and controlled play for most of the overtime period only to come away with just one point by losing the shootout round Saturday afternoon in Waterville Valley.  Clay Plyler tied the game with 2:19 left after heavy pressure in the Bandits end when he picked up a rebound and fired a wrist shot home from the slot.  Jeff Kirkwood was creating havoc in front and tipped a shot when Plyler swooped in on the loose puck.   After a scoreless first period the Bandits took the lead at 7:24 of the second but Christian La Croix would answer two minutes later on the power play to tie it at 1-1.  La Croix played give and go with Jake Saxe before wheeling out of the corner and blowing a hard low shot home short side.  Alec Cochran picked up the second assist on the play.  The Bandits took the lead at 15:16 but Mike Kelleher brought the home team even once again when he tied it at 2-2 at 16:27.  Kelleher completed a nice passing play with Nick Marin and Ryan Dunn when he drilled a snap short over the goalies shoulder.  The Wolves kept pressing after the Plyler goal but couldn’t put one home to win it.  Simon Jasmin stopped 22 of 25 in goal to take the “hard luck” loss.
