The New England Wolves, battling for 1st place in the tightly contested Francis Division of the MJHL met the league leading Walpole Express at the Laconia Ice Arena on Saturday and Sunday for two highly competitive matchups.

The 2-0 win on Saturday night was a total team effort, but featured outstanding performances by 2 players in particular.  Defenseman Hunter Craig (Limerick, ME) recorded both power play goals and netminder Zach Skop stopped 40 shots for the shutout.  In addition to the on ice action, a laser light show (provided by the Laconia Ice Arena staff), as well as Santa and the Broadway North Wolves Dancers, provided the fans with entertainment.  Center, Kevin Morello, also had 2 assists in the effort.

Beginning Friday, 12/12, the Wolves will play 4 games at the annual Hudson Showcase, in Hudson, NH.  Congrats to Wolves Forward Dillon Smith (Madison, NH) as he was awarded Honorable Mention by the MJHL for his performance during the weekend of Dec, 1.
