Brian Cameron scored twice, including the tying goal early in the 3rd  period,  and the  game winner with just 20 seconds left in overtime Friday night in Waterville Valley to give the EHL Wolves a 4-3 win over the Vermont Lumberjacks.  On the goal Cameron sprinted in on the forecheck, stole the puck from the Vermont defenseman and swept it home for an unassisted 4 on 4 tally.

After Vermont took an early 1-0 1st period lead Christian La Croix took a feed from Mike Kelleher at the blue line and broke past the Vermont defense before deking to his backhand to tie the game 1-1 at 9:52 of the first.  Nick Marin gave the Wolves a 2-1 lead at 10:10 of the second when he took a neutral zone pass from Nick Potvin, split the defense and fired a hard wrist shot home to the stick side.  Vermont would score the next 2 goals at 17:09 and 19:45 of the period to take a 3-2 lead into the intermission.  Strong forechecking by Ryan Dunn and Jarrod Fitzpatrick led to the Cameron tying goal on a wrister from the slot 4 minutes into the 3rd period.   Dunn and Fitzpatrick picked up assists on the goal.  The two teams battled through the remainder of the period setting the stage for the Cameron heroics in overtime. Goaltender Eric Bogart was strong in net for the Wolves stopping 38 0f 41 Vermont shots.

In the second game of the weekend set, the first place 18-1 Philadelphia Little Flyers broke open a close 2-1 game with two power play goals mid-way through the second period and rode the momentum to a 10-1 win Saturday night.  The Wolves came out strong in the first period but were stopped on 3 point blank opportunities and two posts before giving up an odd man rush that ended in the net and 1-0 Little Flyers lead.  The Wolves came out strong again in the second and Brian Cameron continued his hot hand when he took a feed from Clay Plyler and snapped a wrist shot home to bring the home team within one at 2-1.  The roof fell in on the Wolves at the 8 minute mark though when the Little Flyers capitalized with the first of 2 power play goals.

The EHL club will be back in action Wednesday at the Waterville Ice Arena when they host the Vermont Lumberjacks at 4pm.
