Recently the Wolves caught up with Declan House, a 2001 birth year defenseman (originally from New Jersey) who was an integral part of the Wolves from 2017-2022, and one of the All Time Leading Scorers amongst defenseman in EHL History.

"My experience in the EHL helped me prepare for college hockey. Every year the league gets better and better which helps push you to the next level every year." said House.

During his time with the Wolves, House was a critical piece to the Wolves success.  Playoff teams in 2018, 2021 & a Frozen Finals run in 2022, that saw him score a memorable goal in Providence versus the Walpole Express, all led to House receiving significant interest from schools during his age-out season.  House commented, "My highlight in a Wolves uniform was making it to the Frozen Finals."

In the spring of 2024, House decided to Transfer schools to Keene State after successful Freshman and Sophomore seasons at Franklin Pierce, that included an NE10 All Rookie team award in 2022-23. "I committed to Franklin Pierce University my last year of juniors with the help of a competitive league and great coaches. I am now transferring to Keene State College for a better college hockey experience." said House, who will be joining Keene State for their inaugural NCAA hockey season.

As a Junior Hockey player, House played in not only the US, but also the CCHL (Canada), and is one of the games played leaders in EHL History.  He had this advice for prospective Jr players, "For the younger players coming in take advantage of all the ice time and resources that are available to you as it will help you make the jump to the next level." House said.

Congratulations Declan on all your success and keep up the great work!
