Recently the Wolves caught up with Liam Kilgallen, a 2001 Goaltender from Massachusetts who was an integral part of the 21-22 Wolves EHL Frozen Finals team.  Kilgallen is currently heading into his Junior Year at Framingham State University.

"Win loss record isn’t where I want it to be but got to play in some big games vs Plymouth state and UMD last year , so hoping to build off that into next year as the oldest goalie on our roster in the upcoming season" said Kilgallen.

During his time with the Wolves, Kilgallen emerged as the #1 goaltender post- Christmas during his age-out season.  His emergence and a miraculous unbeaten streak was critical to the Wolves Post- Season success.  Kilgallen commented, "My experience in the EHL was awesome I had a great billet family , great teammates , and great coaches who took development and moving players up to the college level very seriously . With the amount of ice time available and competition throughout the league it really prepared me for college hockey."

Last season Kilgallen appeared in nearly nets twice as much as his freshman campaign as his Framingham State team finished 8-11-2 in the MASCAC conference, and posted their highest win totals in 10 years.  "I committed to Framingham near the end of the season after talking to coach Bailey for a couple months prior , my parents and coaches on the Wolves helped me through the process of making my decision a lot ." said Kilgallen, who is joined at Framingham along with fellow Wolves Alumni Bobby Bernier, Jack Ennis, and Nathan Gines.

"Advice I would give to players in the EHL is take advantage of all of the ice time , and through hard work you can reach your goals of playing college hockey." Kilgallen said.

Congratulations Liam on all your success and keep up the strong work!
