Focusing on Quality & Investing in Players

With the completion of each of the Wolves teams regular season, we look back on the outstanding accomplishments of each team.

Mike Potenza's U18 team has completed a remarkable 3 year run... Undefeated in the COVID (no playoffs) 2020 season, State Finalist in 2021, and a 9-5-2 record as well as state finals berth in 2022.

John Guerins U16s reached the summit and will now be headed to Buffalo, NY at the end of March to compete in USA Hockey nationals.  Their regular season record of 20-3-1 and unbeaten GSL record of 16-0, positions them as a strong contender for the national championship.

Connor Bates' EHL Premier Jr team finished the regular season beating the NH Avalanche to secure the seed above them in the EHLP division.  Their outstanding record of 25-11-5-1, as one of the best seasons in Wolves EHLP history.

Tim Kunes' EHL Jr team, which has consistently been ranked in the EHL's power rankings and spent nearly 2 months in the #1 position, finished the regular season with a 26-17-1-2 record, and has a number of NCAA college commitments to be announced in the next few weeks.  Their 26 wins becomes a new high for the EHL Wolves squad.

"When there is a focus on quality," GM Andrew Trimble comments, "where each team has a knowledgable and seasoned coach, each team has workouts, each team has multiple ice sessions a week and skill sessions... the results begin to speak for themselves.  The Wolves goal is to do Youth and Amateur hockey the right way... by kids improving their individual skills, while also being a part of a successful season with your respective team."

The Wolves organization is very proud of all of our teams accomplishments in the 2022-23 season, and wishing all the players, staff and teams success in their upcoming playoff runs.  GO Wolves!!!
