Jake Drucker has certainly accomplished a lot at his time at New York University.  

A member of the Wolves program during the 2017-18 season, Jake's high academic marks and passion to pursue a Law Degree, made him a great candidate for "US News ranking in the 2021 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, #30 (NYU)" post- Wolves career.  Graduating this spring, Jake's bio and achievements at NYU speak for themselves:

Jake Drucker is the recipient of the Wallace Gobetz award which recognizes the graduating students with the highest academic average.  Jakes holds a cumulative GPA of 4.0, the highest possible average. This impressive GPA  is just one indication of Jake's hard work and dedication to his education.  He successfully pursued a rigorous full-time schedule which included challenging course work, college hockey, and a participation in youth mentoring program. There weren't enough hours in the day for all Jake set out to accomplish.  Ultimately, his goal of graduating with high honors and securing acceptance into a top law school was realized.  He'll attend the University of Pennsylvania in the fall.

Jake had this to about his Wolves experience, “The Wolves organization gave me the opportunity to connect with coaches from some of the world’s best collegiate institutions, such as NYU. Outside of hockey, as a Wolves player you are constantly supported by an academic advisor that it essentially on call for any school-related questions, or concerns which is another huge advantage to playing in this organization, and speaks volumes to its values, and player priorities.” 

Small one on one meetings and conversations helped Jake in his decision making process.  Finding the right fit at the next level, so that the athlete can find his right path in life.  Drucker echoed this statement, “what distinguishes the New England Wolves as an organization, and the EHL as a league, is not only the platform to find success just as an on-ice athlete, but more importantly the resources, and guidance to succeed as a student-athlete, far beyond the rink.”

During the 2017-18 Jake overcame tremendous personal adversity with the sudden passing of his father, late in the season.  This came only a few short months after a major knee surgery that nearly ended his playing career.  “As a law school applicant, and as an incoming law student this fall, I enter with an extremely unique experience, and set of attributes that the vast majority of other students might not necessarily have. And again, this is due in large part to the lessons I had learned as a junior hockey player within the Wolves organization; of resilience, a team-first mentality, and placing the heaviest emphasis on being the hardest working, and most intense student in the classroom, for which I had long applied while being a player on the ice.” commented Drucker.

Congratulations Jake.  The Wolves are immensely proud of everything that you have accomplished both on and off the ice.  Your hard work, effort and sacrifice embody everything that the Wolves organization strives to teach and share with its athletes. “There are many routes that junior hockey can take you; albeit higher levels in college, or at the professional ranks. However, an unsung path, and the one that both the EHL, and New England Wolves afforded me, was the chance to leverage my hockey career into a world class education.”  Drucker said.
