The New England Wolves are pleased to announce the commitment of Gabriel Jodoin to St Michaels College for the Fall of 2021.

Saint Michael's College is a private, Roman Catholic, liberal arts college in Colchester, Vermont. Saint Michael's was founded in 1904 by the Society of Saint Edmund. Saint Michael's College grants Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in over 30 majors to their 1,600 undergraduate students. Housing availability is guaranteed for all four years although about 10% of students, primarily upperclassmen, live off campus.

Jodoin, a native of Trois-Rivières, QC, CAN, came to the Wolves after starring at Wyoming Prep for two seasons, captaining the team his senior year.  In 54 games for the Wolves Jodoin tallied 52 points, helped the Wolves reach the playoffs each season.

“We are happy for Gabe as he embarks on this next step in his career. We enjoyed having Gabe with us for parts of 2 seasons and connecting him with St Michael’s, who fit his academic, athletic and geographic goals. The Wolves wish him well." said the Wolves GM Andrew Trimble.

Jodoin lived with the Wolves Host Family Coordinator Kerry Mull and her family here in the Lakes Region during his time in the EHL.  Jodoin sparked the interest of St Michael's after a stellar weekend in February 2020 when the Wolves swept the Lumberjacks in 2 games and Jodoin drove the offense.  Even with COVID restrictions and campus closures, he was accepted to St Michael's and  continued his conversations and strong play with Coach DiGuilian and Coach Bain via zoom and HockeyTV throughout the Fall and Winter of 2020-21 before finalizing in early March.

Jodoin commented, "I just wanted to thank you for the past 2 years.  I have always appreciated your style of coaching (Tim Kunes EHL Head Coach) and it was a great fit for my game.  Also a big part of why I can play in College next year and I am thankful for that.... I really liked my time with the Wolves.  Thank you for everything."

The Wolves wish Gabriel Jodoin and his family continued success and Gabe well at St Michael's!

Jodoin finished his EHL Jr career with 3 games for the NH Avalanche.
