The Wolves JR and Academy U16 program features daily skills sessions (in addition to their team practices and workouts). The program prides itself in not only developing teams but also enhancing individual skills.
The skill sessions progress throughout the week, and generally follow this routine:
Monday- Goaltender Training (with ZtendingNH Lou Loutrel)
Tuesday- Power Skating and Puck Skills
Wednesday- Defenseman Specific Skills
Thursday- Forward Specific Skills
Friday- Power Play and Special Teams
The skills training, format, and instruction is run by Wolves Director of Player Development Tim Kunes. Kunes is also the EHL Head Coach, and has a lengthy professional bio that includes:
