Sunday, November 17, 2019. Laconia, NH

Sunday's NH Humane Society benefit game was both a success on the ice (Wolves EHL won 5-3) and off the ice, as many donations came in to benefit the NH Humane Society in Laconia.

Collecting dog treats, food, kitty litter, cleaning supplies and much more, Wolves fans came in from all over the Lakes Region to catch a great level of hockey and contribute to a great cause.

The NH Humane Society;

"Founded in 1900 by M. Jennie Kendall, the NH Humane Society was formerly known as the Women’s Humane Society. Originally located in Nashua, NH, the organization worked tirelessly for the welfare of women, children and animals.

Mission and Purpose

A significant part of our mission is about second chances. We're dedicated to finding responsible and caring forever homes and providing shelter for lost, abandoned and unwanted animals. We advocate for animals and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We implement educational programs and provide services to promote responsible pet ownership and the human-animal bond. And finally, we work tirelessly to prevent cruelty to animals."

Donations were dropped off on Wednesday morning to the Laconia center.  For more info on the NH Humane Society visit their website- https://nhhumane.org/

Wolves ownership wishes a sincere thank you to all those who supported and donated.  Special THANK YOU goes to Melissa Bigler and her furry friend Rieker for dropping the ceremonial puck!!
