Wolves Junior teams sweep the weekend

Overall teams go 10-1

The New England Wolves, in a critical pre-holiday weekend of games, went a combined 10-1 over the span of 3 days.

Starting off, the U14s swept both of their NEPHL games, officially qualifying for NEPHL playoff tournament play.  Those games begin this Friday in Walpole, MA.

The u16's clinched their first overall seed in the NEPHL playoffs with a 6-1 and 3-1 win.  On the NEPHL season the Wolves stand at 10-0-1.

In a 5 game homestand vs the Vermont Lumberjacks the Wolves swept all 5 games.  First, the EHLP won on Friday (5-2), Saturday (3-2) and Sunday (3-1).  Carson Gates earned two wins in nets.  The EHL team knocked off top-seeded Vermont by scores of 7-4 (Saturday) and 5-3 (Sunday).  For the EHL'ers efforts Jack Loran was named Forward of the week and Julius Kvandal was named Defenseman of the week.  Additionallu, the Wolves jumped into the top 5 in the EHL power rankings.
