All Fall we will be bringing you updates on some outstanding Wolves Alumni.

First Up is a 2 year member of the Wolves, Matthew- Donald Toombs.  Entering his Senior year at Franklin Pierce University, Pleasanton, CA native Matthew- Donald Toombs is poised to build on his career high in assists and points set during his Junior year campaign.

“The expectations are high this year for this group. We have a great group of returnees and some very talented young players that will make an impact right away!” commented Toombs.  “I’m really looking forward to the season (which starts with our first practice Monday the 14th).”

Toombs came to the Wolves after starring at Winchendon Prep.  He played 2 seasons under Steve Jacobs and Brett Tryder, before committing to Franklin Pierce in Ridge, NH.

”My experience with the wolves was unmatched, the coaching staff was great and determined to get me to college! I’m looking forward to enjoying every moment this year and really taking it all in. It’s my last ride and I want to go out with a bang!” Toombs said.

As mentioned earlier, Toombs played 2 years with the Wolves, which included some memorable goals, an EHL playoff berth in 2015-16 and over 25 teammates who would go on to college hockey.

As for the future, Toombs is looking to move into a career in medical sales. “I am a business management major with a minor in communications and public relations! And after school I want to enter into the medical device sales field!”. Commented Toombs.

The Wolves wish Matthew- Donald and his FPU Ravens teammates a ton of success for the 2019-20 season!  Congrats and go get’em Toombsy!!!!
