October 19 Wolves to Host Salute to First Responders Games

Laconia, NH.  For the second year, the New England Wolves will host a pair of “Salute to First Responders” games at the Merrill Fay Arena.  At these games money will be raised for the following charities- The Thin Blue Line Foundation (for Police Officers), Laconia Fire, The Wounded Warrior Project and local VFW’s.

The games occur on October 19.  Kicking things off will be an EHLP matchup between the Wolves and the Worcester Railers at 330pm.   Donations collected during the game for the Fire Department and the Thin Blue Line Foundation. Wolves will have the Police & Fireman stand with our Starting Lineup during the anthem and player introductions.  Additionally, there will be a vocal group from Laconia HS to sing the anthem.  

The EHL Game will be a Military Appreciation Benefit. Donations collected for local VFW’s and the Wounded Warrior Project.  630pm the EHL puck will drop as the Wolves take on the Boston JR Rangers. Servicemen will make a Flag presentation prior to anthem, and stand with our players during introductions. The Marine Corps hymn will be played as the players take the ice, and a presentation by the Wolves Ownership of an Autographed Jersey to the Service Members present will occur during intermission.
